Vicarious
I’ve always had an idea. An idea that POV shouldn’t be just for boys — POV is a game girls can play too. But when I shopped the idea around, “they” told me that a girl/girl POV movie couldn’t be done. I told them to stuff it and I did it anyway. (I won’t name names, but let’s say “they” are directors and producers I’ve talked to.) When I brought the idea to John Stagliano, he was into it the way Mormons are into secret underwear. We called it POV from a female perspective, or Femme POV. “Vicarious” — with Skin Diamond, Dylan Ryan, Ash Hollywood, Jiz Lee, Kimberly Kane, Lexi Belle, London Keyes, Rozen DeBowe, Aiden Ashley and of course, myself — is the result of my tenacity and John Stagliano’s faith in my vision as an artist.
